The Chinoiserie

This was an afternoon tea like no other. The tasting menu format has been applied and to very good effect. Course after course of delightful treats - every bite was delicious. Combined with the beautiful surroundings, the excellent service, and the fantastic selection of excellent teas (with knowledgeable guidance towards choosing teas to match our tastes), this is an afternoon tea I look forward to enjoying again.

We attempted to eat here in the late afternoon. We were sat and given menus and then did not have anyone attempt to serve us for literally 18 minutes. That is a long time to sit for absolutely no reason with a child at your table. So we decided not to bother. As we packed up to leave, someone came by to ask if we had been helped yet. Complete waste of time. Looks beautiful, just wish these people had any sense of manners.

Amazing experience!! The afternoon tea is sublime: special types of tea and incredibly tasty desserts (they are created by a michelin-star chef who doesnt use sugar at all!!) . The salad part of the menu is just as good as the rest. 75/pp for the entiee experience (tea, salads, desserts) is absolutely a fair deal considered the top quality!!
