I have used Fone Smiths numerous times now for mobile & tablet repairs in both Bromley & Orpington stores. All outcomes have been spot on & at decent prices. Very happy overall.

I paid 50 to repair my screen on my iPhone at Fone Smiths in Bromley. From the day of the repair, my phone would FaceTime people during a call, play/stop music when screen was touched a whole lot more. I wasnt given a refund. They changed the screen three times and kept reminding me that I had 6 months warranty, I reminded them that I should not have to keep coming back to correct a service I paid for. Especially when the problem I had was a screen that was coming away from the phone, not a faulty screen. Initially they wanted to give me a cracked screen on my phone before they processed my refund. I asked how this made sense considering the one they took off wasnt cracked. Then they asked me to come back another day when they will have a second hand non cracked screen, to which I did and they didnt have one. Each time they would call someone, ask me the same questions and do everything possible to not give me a refund. Then a staff member who didnt have much to say in person told me that on a set day, coincidentally when he wasnt in they will have the other screen and I can get a refund. When that day came, he had a different tone when the staff member called him and they began to tell me that I could have a refund as the screen cost them 30. Why is that my problem? So they did not refund me. Terrible people. Lying and having me go back and forth and then not giving me my refund. Im still shocked that this can happen in 2022. I only gave 1 Because I couldnt put zero stars, otherwise I would have. They have now lost a customer, any potential recommendations, received a negative review, and Im contacting trading standards. All for 50, I hope they find the 50 worth it.
