Justin recently handled a bathroom renovation project for us, in which we had the bathroom re-tiled, and everything reinstalled, with a new basin & vanity, a new bath, a new toilet & a few other things. The flat was built for quite a long time now, and when we removed the tiles & everything, we uncovered lots of issues with the wall & pipes. Whenever there was an issue, Justin thoroughly explained it, and could always explained to me how to best deal with these issues. The project was finished after one month, and we are really happy with the quality of the job. Overall I would highly recommend Justin for other jobs. Over several years Justin and his team have done lots of work for us: building of a porch around our front door; a new garden patio; concrete gutter repairs; installation of new ornamental/ feature radiator with hidden pipework; several windows and a large patio door replacements; refurbishment of a bedroom (including sanded and re-varnished wooden floor); insulation and floor boarding within our loft; kitchen refurbishment and floor tiling; urgent plumbing repairs. His work has always been to a very high standard and he has been good at preparation of work area as well as tidying/ cleaning after the job. He has also been very considerate of what else is going on in the household and flexible about working around our routine. We enlisted Justin's services to renovate our bathroom and install a ground floor toilet. The project was initially estimated to take around 3 weeks. However, as soon as the old tiles and units were removed, we discovered many "gremlins" hidden beneath (not literal gremlins, just bad workmanship and dodgy decisions taken by the previous builder). This, plus some bad calculations on my part when ordering tiles meant the project overran by 2 weeks, taking a total of 5 weeks to complete. Justin was friendly and explained everything throughout, giving us options depending on how much extra we wanted to spend. I trusted Justin to just get on with the work and gave him the keys to the house so he could let himself in and out. He even gave me free advice on various other issues I was having with the house, which meant that I could take care of them myself. Justin worked diligently to complete our kitchen remodel over the course of 2 months. The kitchen was designed and supplied by Wren kitchens and he was able to tackle challenges easily, identifying any work arounds needed that had been overlooked as part of the kitchen design. Justin was extremely clean and tidy, making sure all relevant surfaces were covered and cleaned up after each day. He would always explain what he was doing and why, giving options before any changes or additional work was needed. He was extremely friendly and addressed any snags quickly. The project took longer than expected but overall we've been very happy with the work undertaken on our new kitchen and all of the associated works.
