Would have given negative stars if google reviews allow me. Totally a pain and created a lot of stress for me in a simple transfer of equity transaction.

Ive read through other reviews and its all the same stuff - this company is totally incompetent when trying to complete a remortgage & transfer of equity. Hard to get through to them in the first place and if you do manage you are given some lower level, snappy front of desk person who cannot answer specific questions as the case handlers are never in! I had to use these via Halifax and have left them feedback about using this company too. Do not use this company and do not be fooled by their flurry of positive reviews after they receive a bout of authentic negative reviews from real customers (Im sure theyre leaving themselves positive feedback from fake accounts which coincidentally only have left one review on google for Solex)!

This company are an absolute disgrace. Unable to complete a transfer of equity and remortgage. You get ignored, emails not replied to, impossible to speak to your case handler Their incompetence has costs me thousands of pounds already. Absolutely disgusting that Halifax continue to use them. They should be shut down. The amount of stress, anxiety and financial loss these people have caused me because they seem incapable of doing their jobs should be criminal. If you are advised to use them for your remortgage refuse. The reviews all over the internet should be a clear enough warning. I wish I had looked into them rather than just going with the advice of my mortgage broker.

Horrendous experience. Unfortunately, I had to use Solex via Leeds Building Society. Throughout, they have made errors, entered incorrect information and have been ridiculously slow resulting in various delays. This culminated in a telephone call with their team leader 'Carol' who was incredibly rude, cut across me when I tried to talk, told me I was wrong when I stated Solex had entered incorrect information (which I was right about and have proof of). Her tone, manner and attitude are disgraceful. She was so incredibly rude considering she was talking to a customer and the fact she is a team leader/manager is very, very worrying. When I asked to speak to someone higher she insisted there was no one higher to speak to (does she think she owns the company?). I eventually spoke to a case worker who stated complaints had to be put through via email. Throughout the process, they have been slow and useless at emailing. With this in mind, I realised there was no point in emailing my complaint so instead I have posted this public review.
