Darwin Insurance

Absolutely shocking! I was the victim of an attempted scam by a foreigner in a car park, I took full evidence and called police 3 times! These didn't care! They asked for evidence the scammer didn't provide any in 6 months! I now can't get insurance as they haven't closed it down properly on their system and they continue to ignore me! Never again! It looks like the Ombudsman is going to have to finally resolve this but at what cost and inconvenience to their trusting customer who had no idea how bad they were, never, never again! Avoid like the plague

Terrible service. Renewal price 215 more than last year. Woman on the phone very condescending and blunt. Exact same details put through money supermarket and Darwin came out 150 cheaper than the renewal price! Have gone with another company who are cheaper and are a lot more helpful. Poor business decision and would avoid using Darwin in the future even if other companies were more expensive. Useless

Update: I have been in touch with Darwin several times and they have refused to help me in anyway. Do not recommend. I emailed to ensure my policy would not be renewed. Darwin went ahead and renewed anyway. I accepted my fate, 8 days later they realised I had contacted and cancelled after already renewing it. Leaving me with no policy, and having lost the excellent quote I had already received elsewhere. Customer service were completely dismissive of the issue they had caused.
