A) Roads in Beckenham are pickled with potholes - I can attest they are significantly worse than roads in the rural Philippines!
B) Gutters and drains are not cleared regularly, so any heavy rainfall leads to flooded roads.
C) From 1 April 2023, car parking for a one hour stay has gone up 28.5%, and can only be paid by the RingGo app. That adds a further 20p for text messaging (this is not advertised), and another 20p as a 'convenience fee'. Whose 'convenience' is that? It's certainly not the customer, but the council's own convenience, since they don't have to collect the cash from meters now. Moreover, how does anyone without a mobile phone now park legally? You can bet there are pensioners (and maybe others) who don't have mobiles. The whole thing is immoral, disingenuous, and ignores inclusivity.
Yet still, council tax has gone up. All told, this council is appalling.

Congratulations.
Rather than shafting your residents on top of all the positive work the reviews below suggest you clearly are performing, do something worthwhile. I'm sure the av.1.3 rating is not merited.
