A fantastic experience. Challenging, impactful and an invaluable insight into the prison system. For any student with an interest in public law, this is well worth your time.

Have only been volunteering here for a short while so far, but am thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to work in a legal aid firm. The opportunity to represent clients who do not qualify for legal aid in a range of cases, such as discrimination claims, personal injury, and data breaches, is unique. Intervene has allowed me to gain hands-on experience, when assisting with drafting letters of correspondence, communicating with clients and furthering my understanding of the prison system and its appeal process. Everyone I have had the pleasure of working with so far has been so lovely and helpful- I look forward to continuing to work alongside such driven and compassionate individuals!

Really helpful legal work experience, communicating with clients and learning about administration. A friendly team of volunteers that answer any questions you have when needed. Learned a lot from my time with them. Great charity for issues not funded by legal aid. Really important work that helps people who wouldn't receive help otherwise. Professional, organised and hard-working.
