Tesco Superstore

Today was the last draw for me and Tescos. Ive put up with immensely long queues, common goods out of stock, a dingy worn out store, careless staff with no regard to customers when wheeling around stock trolleys and today a staff member who could have been more polite. An out and out economy brand that is only interested in maximising profits over customer experience. Off to Waitrose and Sainsburys from now where I dont get penalised for not using a loyalty card, where the prices arent that different, where my bicycle wont get stolen, where the store looks and feels more hygienic, where common and rare goods are more likely to be in stock, where the premium range is actually premium (unlike Tesco finest which is far from fine) and where staff members have that little more politeness to them. (If I had an Aldis or Lidl nearby I wouldve preferred these over Tesco too, my experience in these has been far better than Tesco)

The longest queues snaking back to the cheese aisle, so much worse since majority of the tills were replaced with self service check outs and only 2 very lovely but overworked staff attending to almost 20 machines that are temperamental! Terrible experience

Visited the store recently and the new joiner named MANUU, really made my day. He tried his best to help me and also seen very active on the floor to help others. Instead of saying typical sorry no stock, he went to stock room and brought the item which I was looking for. Big up for Manuu. Tesco should hire more people like this guy.
