Swann's Nursery

The nursery was recommended to us and we wanted to shop locally. Sue, who runs workshops there, designed our garden and Swanns became the obvious choice. Now our garden has been landscaped we need at least 8 trees plus lots and lots of shrubs and other plants. Unfortunately the woman who we spoke to at Swanns over the weekend was incredibly rude and condescending. She had no time to answer our questions, wouldn't give us any idea of the price of a particular tree and told us to look through the price list (even though its due to be republished soon). She scoffed when we explained we didn't know all the Latin names of plants and told us to go away and return next week. We just wanted a bit of advice before spending hundreds of pounds. Sadly they will not be getting our business and we will have to find another recommended local nursery. We are very disappointed to be treated like idiots and spoken to in such a manner. We can only assume they have so many customers that they don't need our hard earned money.
