  • A Cup of Clarabelle

    Ryan and Mark were great installing the stairlift. They explained everything clearly and were really helpful. Plus cleaned up after themselves! I would highly recommend handicare!

    I am absolutely disgusted with the so called service of your firm . I have a fault with my chair on ringing your number I was told I could not have an engineer or a repair unless I paid 900.00 for a 4 year plan . At this time I am unable to find this sort of money , and after spending so much money originally on the chair I am totally amazed at your response. I have however found a company who will put right this fault ,so I would never under any circumstance recommend your chairs to any one . So thank you for your terrible service .

    Without doubt the worst company i have ever dealt with. The customer service is appalling not to mention the attempt to charge me 6k for a stairlift before reducing to 4.3k when i said i wasn't interested. They haven't conducted a service for 2 years despite me having a contract to do so. Phoned to complain and still awaiting a call 7 days later. Disgrace.

    I am giving 5 stars for Mark, the engineer who installed the stairlift for my husband. He arrived at 0930 and set to work quickly and efficiently with a minimum of fuss. To my delight, he was finished by noon and showed me the controls so that my husband was able to try it out. Everything was satisfactory and we are both very happy with the stairlift. My husband will have no more problems getting up and down the stairs.

    Installed at the beginning of December and it broke down in time for Christmas. Since broken down six or so times and had new batteries, new motors, main circuit board, charging strip. All separate trips and had to wait for spare parts each time. Over two weeks for circuit board. Do yourself a favour and don't use this company.
