This property particularly appeals to me because if its Medieval origins. As a small manor house, it provided an interesting contrast to the great ancestral houses and parklands. The guides were most welcoming and informative. The layout in the kitchen was an evocative feature. What struck me most was the peaceful secluded valley setting. It was like stepping into another world. The picnic tables were handy.

Not a large house but full of interesting things and well looked after, nice walks around the the property ranging in distance, ample parking book shop and cafe.
