Forest Oaks

Mum stayed here for rest bite care while we had ceiling track hoists fitted. The manager assured me that once he had her negative COVID results back she would come out of isolation, from her tiny little box room. I sent her results, it was negative. She stayed in isolation in that tiny little box room, full nursing care, hardly any room for a hoist. She was kept in bed till 10:30 until they got her up, ok, she was asked if she wanted a cuppa, but was at bursting point for a wee already so she couldnt have that cuppa! I spoke to the manager several times asking for mums test results, even after she came home. I never got them. Mum was kept in that room the whole week, a dingy little room. I only wished I took photos. I did not. She had one bed Bath while she was here and she only loved 2 of the carers that cared for her. So, she was gasping for a brew, a wee, a wash, and communication. Which you failed. Andrew, you let us both down, you said youd forward mums test results, which you did not. This was your excuse, it is not one.

Forest Oaks looked after our dad for over 5yrs. I would always say if you want a fantastic nursing home this is the best. The staff take brilliant care of their residents and keep the families updated with what is going on.

Definitely, the best care home I have ever seen. High standards in everything, smart management, excellent working environment. A real model for excellence in care .
