Forest Gate Bed and Breakfast

We absolutely loved this B&B when we stayed in May 2021. The room was extremely clean with a very comfortable bed - I slept like a log on all three nights! Superb breakfasts with fresh fruit and orange juice, home made museli, and delicious cooked options. Lots of thoughtful little touches like a flask of fresh milk for tea in the bedroom. Also great for serious cyclists as there was proper secure bike storage. Maggie was very welcoming and I am sure we will be returning one day!

Maggie and Andrew are lovely hosts who looked after us well. They were very accommodating as we brought our bikes and allowed us to drop them off ahead of check in due to the unfortunate weather! They have implemented all the necessary COViD restrictions without sacrificing on friendly interaction and the personal touches. They have a beautiful home which allowed us our own space, made perfect by the log fire which they kindly lit for us coming back after being out for dinner. Would recommended to anyone wanting to visit the area, it is well situated for a visit to the new forest to hike or bike. We hope to return soon!
