Lovely place to walk although at present all the rivers are up and some areas are not accessible after the heavy rain, you will need wellies at the moment Dog-friendliness: The new forest provides lovely areas for dog walking - there are free roaming animals in the forest - cows, ponies and at the moment pigs so please be mindful of your dogs

Dog on leads , don't pick mushrooms and don't litter, lots of nesting birds and ponies about , lovely place .
