Lepe Beach Campsite

Good campsite with great views over the Solent and really short (2 mins) walk to the beach. Ground is flat (there is a slight slope towards the beach, but not noticeable). There is no shade so bring shelter for hot days. Staff are friendly and there's plenty of useful items to buy for emergencies (tent pegs, ice blocks, etc) as well as pizza and fire pits for hire. Toilets and showers are kept clean, although it would be nice to have some more sinks with shelves, etc, as we had to brush teeth in the gents sink .

We all really enjoyed our time here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the site is very spacious and the tent that we rented from them was first class. The toilets and showers were very, very clean and none of us ever had to queue. The showers were also nice and warm. The things that they sell and rent on site were well priced. There are rubbish disposal bins near the front gate so you did not have to cart your rubbish off site which was very useful amd not always the case. The beach is literally a two minute walk from the pedestrian exits at the bottom of the site. The only issue we had is that the mobile phone service is very spotty and although my wife's phone seemed happy there none of the rest of us had much luck even though we were all on Vodaphone. Would definitely stay again.
