I had a great walk from Lyndhurst to Brockenhurst and the pathway passed through Whiteley Wood.It is stunning and very peaceful. The pavement walk from Lyndhurst to Bank wasn't that enjoyable but there was a pavement to walk on.The road was very busy and when I arrived at Bank the traffic noise receded into the distance. The pathways are easy to follow and eithe go to Lyndhurst or Brockenhurst. It was a fairly long walk and when I arrived at Beachern Wood I didn't realise just how far it was to the train station.I visited during the Queen's platinum celebration and the weather was dry. There are nice places to rest but bring your own water, and a map that has either the pathways or the way markers.Good luck and enjoy.
