Garden Cottage

We had a wonderful stay in Garden Cottage a few weeks ago. The cottage is really spacious and comfortable, everything is of a very high standard, The beds are so comfy with high quality bedding, the kitchen is really well equipped, and the garden is just beautiful with plenty of room for children to run around and play. There are some superb walks to explore, and plenty of great days out locally too. We will definitely return another time!

We were due to spend the weekend at Monnington house as a large group of 18 but the week before we were due to go the rule of six came into effect so we ended up staying in Garden Cottage as a family group of six. The cottage was lovely, three well appointed bedrooms all with their own bathroom, a cosy sitting room and dining area and a small but perfectly adequate kitchen. The outside grounds were beautiful and ideal for the big kids to run around playing football and badminton. The outbuildings contained a pool table, football table and table tennis table which were all put to good use. We were lucky with the weather which enabled us to walk around the grounds, through the cider orchards and along the river and we even hired canoes and paddled down the river. The local pub was in walking distance and the farm shop was very good. We had a fabulous weekend and will hopefully be able to return with all of us next year.
