Nearly Home Honey & Beekeeping

I booked a surprise 2 hour beekeeping and honey tasting experience for my partners birthday and Im so pleased I stumbled upon Nearly Home Beekeeping! This was an amazing experience from start to finish. David and Georgina are so knowledgable and such a lovely, welcoming and fun couple. We had a great time and could happily have stayed beyond 2 hours to learn more and obviously taste more of the delicious honey bee offerings. Thank you so much.

Such a fantastic experience, David and Georgina were brilliant hosts, very welcoming. On arrival we were provided with tea, coffee and delicious honey cake. The information presented was great and the trip up to the beehives was amazing. Don't leave without purchasing some tasty honey, you won't be disappointed!

Amazing course if you are looking to start you bee keeping journey. I didn't feel overwhelming with information but at the same time I felt everything was covered and it was amazing to get some real hands on experience with the bees. David & Georgina are fanatic hosts and their honey is amazing!

Went for the two hour beekeeping taster session today. Clear directions led me to a warm welcome from David and Georgina. A welcome cup of coffee and delicious honey cake, before an educational peek into the world of bees. Then a short stroll to visit the hives including handling of brood and honey laden frames. Fascinating creatures and not once did I feel fear being surrounded by so many bees. In fact it was quite the opposite. There is quite a lot of information to take on board so before I acquire my hive and colony I will continue to educate myself. A massive thank you to all at Nearly Home for a wonderful experience and I hope to bee (see what I did there) in contact soon to order a colony for next spring.
