Blandford Books

What a stunning, well-stocked bookshop. We went into the childrens section specifically and spent all of our time there. There were loads of books that were well displayed and organized and lots of related toys as well. We landed up picking up two books for an absolute bargain. The lady who helped us was very friendly and helpful - getting stuck into shelves to help us find what we were looking for - quite a niche book.

Good selection of books but member of staff was quite abrupt and rude. My toddler was sat on the floor looking at a book whilst I was trying to select one for his brother and I was questioned on whether "I was going to purchase that now" - I didn't see every other person who was browsing the books and looking inside being questioned. Older children were looking inside of books before purchasing so I'm not sure what the difference is. I bought the one book my toddler had chosen and left and bought my older child something elsewhere. I won't be returning.

Great range but often closes early I often go to Blandford Books as it has a great selection of greeting cards and gifts. But its a real pain when it closes early. Especially when youve made a special trip to Broadway just to go there! Today closed at 4.45 when it says 5.30 here.
