If you have hit the jackpot you could consider booking Arbtech for your bats survey. Absolutely no evidence of bats at the property. The lady went into the loft , out in the garden, walked around the property, tried everything she could think of but no evidence of any bats was found. She still said she needed to book another 2 surveys. Dont contact them unless you want to get trapped in this never ending cycle of paying them ridiculous amounts in fees before they issue a report for the council. Avoid at all costs

I must be missing something here. As another reviewer has said - this company basically has a license to print money. Despite zero evidence of bats at our preliminary survey, we were told we had to pay out even more for an emergent survey because of the 'type of hanging tiles' we had on a dormer window. All in all has cost well over 2 grand. I should have done more prior research and found a company that didn't charge such a ridiculous amount of money. Arbtech will no doubt reply saying they were following best practice but even our architect said he couldn't believe it and had never known such a cautious approach. Unless you enjoy spending money for no reason, avoid.
