Great place to visit on a sunny day. It can be reached by walking or cycling through ridgeway or car. There is parking in the layby next to it.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hackpen Hill White Horse, and I must say, it was an experience I'll never forget. As I approached the site, the stunning white horse etched into the hillside captured my attention immediately. The craftsmanship and effort required to create such a magnificent figure is truly commendable. The panoramic views from the top of Hackpen Hill were absolutely breathtaking. As I stood there, taking in the beauty of the surrounding countryside, I felt an overwhelming sense of awe and tranquility. The lush green landscape stretching out before me was a feast for the eyes, and I couldn't help but snap several photos to remember the moment. For those who enjoy a leisurely hike, the trails leading up to the White Horse were well-maintained and easy to navigate. I appreciated the signage along the way, providing historical context and information about the area. I found myself marveling at the rich history and cultural significance of this stunning landmark.

This looks much better from a distance where you can experience the whole carving. The walk back up the hill is quite steep
