Being treated like a shop lifter everytime you go in the store is degrading to customers!!!! I had gone into sainsburys before I then went into Aldi - I purchased 3 items in sainsburys. When I got to the checkout instead of being asked if the cashier could check my bag she just got up from her seat, walked around to my trolley and opened my bag!! Seeing the 3 items she said have you paid for these? I replied yes I bought them from sainsburys and showed her the receipt she didnt even look at the receipt and talked on her headset to someone saying yes I have checked the bag!!! I have never been so embrassed in my life especially considering the items in my bag they dont even sell in Aldi anyway!!! Today I went back and I had my bag for life with me which was empty. I made a point at the checkout of giving the bag to the same cashier as last week and told her look my bag is empty before you ask. She opened it up real wide just to make sure!!! She didnt bother checking my friends bags who was behind me! Totally rude and uncalled for. Also check the dates on everything as at times I pick up things and they are out of date the next day! Wont be shopping here again!!!!

A nice big Aldi with a great new store that is definitely on par with the bigger name supermarkets. Superb layout with large aisles Some great deals to be found Own brand items are mostly good to great - May 2023
