The trader N.TAPPER SHOE REPAIRS KEY CUTTING' does not comply to the fair trading laws NOT DESERVING OF 1 STAR! Initially the trader mislead my partner to believe he was able to cut her keys for her, not mentioning anything about the key being a duplicate or original. The trader does not take card payment, only cash and does not distribute a receipt of service.One of the reasons which lead me to believe the trader does not supply fair services. I accompanied my partner to return the keys requesting a refund or correction of service. The trader was very hostile and became increasingly aggressive. Our own key was taken from us for his supposed inspection, which he then accused her for bringing the wrong key. He finally agreed the keys he cut where wrong but not his fault, rudely denied us a refund or any service and refused to give us back her own house key. He only gave the key back to us once we had called the police on the phone to report him. The key was cut with incorrect grooves because the keys used where too short to duplicate the key. (examined and explained to us by an employee at Shoecare Croydon). An honest mistake that was made and should have been dealt with. Despite the small amount of money in exchange for his service, this is a crime which i have been victim to before and want his shop monitored and checked immediately for his right to trade and compensation for his behaviour. He has robbed me and left me with nothing from his service, this has more than likely been done to many others who have let him get away with his unfair trade because it is a small amount of money.
