Was very apprehensive about trying out a new boxing class after training at a different facility. So came along to see what the womans only session was like so I could see which I preferred. Its a great facility and Initially I enjoyed the pulse raiser and conditioning elements at the beginning of the session, however as it went on I began to lose interest as skills/drills werent really broken down or progressions explained as such. Towards the end of the session we had a cool down/stretch which wasn't really structured, as we were essentially left to our own devices, so unsure how I feel about coming back, maybe I need to try a different class or session altogether. 1 of the coaches on hand was really helpful, however the 2nd less so- Im not trying to belittle anybody however, coming from a coaching background myself, shouting across a room at person isnt always the best or most effective way to motivate a person or works well for everybody.
