I lived here for 8 years and I have to say I really loved living here. It was so close to the big Sainsburys on Purley Way and well as Lidl, Aldi, Currys, Ikea all in walking distance. Also Wandle Park was right next door and the tram was like 200 metres from my flat. Also central Croydon and Surrey Street market were like 10 or maybe 15 minutes walk. On a good day I managed to get to work in Oxford Circus in 45 minutes because there are fast trains to Victoria from East Croydon. East Croydon to Victoria was 20 or 25 minutes I guess. I live in a more suburban location now but I miss living in my old flat because so many things were so close. I have to go by car everywhere now!
