        I searched for many months for the perfect desk. I finally found what appeared to be a good contender online from London Fine Antiques. I had a few concerns, which were all thoroughly addressed by Clive and his team. There was a repair needed, which their restorers took care of beautifully, and I needed a deep drawer, so they were able to combine two shallower drawers to make one deep one, but it still looks like the the two original drawers. Really beautifully done. Delivery was seamless and the desk arrived cleaner than most antiques I've purchased. I ran tack cloth through the doors and it came out nearly perfect. The outside just needed a light dusting from travel, during which it was well-wrapped in blankets. Every day when I sit at my desk, I am happier and happier with my purchase. It has made this past month of working from home a delight!
