I recently purchased a good car which I am happy with from this Dealer, Mr. Penn. However there are three main reasons I have rated Penn Trading 1 out of 5. 1)The purchase included a warranty policy which Mr. Penn did not sign. During the sale it was all prepared but not signed when handed over. Of course I am also to blame for not noticing the lack of signature on my documents, but I feel this is a particularly sly move by the dealer. I do not believe this was done by accident; during the sale I asked him to sign within the booklet, which was handed back to me closed but unsigned, and secondly because Jason has not responded to any of my attempts to contact him swiftly after the sale on this matter. 2)As one would expect from most decent dealers, Jason told me he would send in the new registration document to the DVLA. Seven weeks later, no documents received, the DVLA advised that they had not received anything. Not a huge issue you might think, but clearly an inconvenience, particularly if like me, your parking permits depends on receiving the registration forms. 3)No VAT number to be found anywhere. Just another reason (in addition to point 1 below to be suspicious) Again, I am happy with the car that I bought, but suspicious of these potential "scams" and the non-existent after sale service. Avoid this dealer. I hope this review helps potential buyers and sellers, particularly because this is the first public review.
