K F Troop & Sons

I had been gradually switching food shopping from supermarkets to local village shops over the last couple of years anyway but with the COVID lockdown, I fully switched to Troop for fruit and veg. In fact, not just for fruit and veg but also for eggs, milk, cream, butter, jam, bread and even some cheeses (brie and stilton for us, but they also have others). It's fresh, it's lovely, everyone is very friendly, I know the farm the milk in their shop comes from, and I don't have to go all the way to Kingsthorpe, sit in traffic, then wait to park etc etc. They've also been delivering to locals who have been self isolating or shielding so they've been a massive pillar of support for the community. What's not to like?

Great service, nice food items, other items available subject season(ege Xmas trees) efficient team. Handy parking. There should be a Troop in every village.

This shop was recommended by neighbours as we have just moved to scaldwell. Great find, fruit and veg, milk, plants, bedding plants, compost, bird tables. So friendly, would highly recommend
