Looking for a few floorboards to replace split/broken ones at my 1930s house. Rang to ask if they had any and the lady who answered the phone was extremely helpful and took the time to look at the boards in stock and measure them. I popped down half an hour later and was impressed with the huge amount of timber and timber products on offer and the overall set up, which includes a full workshop on site. After parking in the entrance yard I was welcomed and offered assistance by two very knowledgeable and friendly ladies who pointed me to the area where the boards were. I found some perfect boards, although an inch wider than the ones I needed, but no problem, for a nominal sum five minutes later then were cut to size in the workshop and I was on my way. Absolutely fantastic service, I will definitely be returning and recommend anyone else to pop in and see what a great place it is.

Went to buy piece of angled wood was shouted at when i first went in felt I was being told off for going into the wrong place by the angry lady ! Then as a customer was spoken to inappropriately by the said angry lady I got to the point where I couldnt wait to leave ! Must say excellent customer service lol everything seemed to be a little difficult for Ms. Angry!! Unfortunately I had to shop elsewhere! Good luck

Sound idea and love what they are doing but I have to say a little on the expensive side

They're doing a great thing, but the shop is so inflexible it's like shopping at B&Q, just with only one of everything. You can't, for example, buy half a 2.4m plank. Given they buy reclaimed wood (and buy short planks), and the whole point is to reduce waste, it just seems totally illogical to not be more flexible.
