Bristol Menopause

I saw Emma at the clinic last August because of extreme atrophy. The appointment didnt go very well from the start. She was using a room with no examination bed, so we moved rooms, but then there was no light by the bed. Anyway long story short, after trying new pessaries for 4 months (there was also an issue with the prescription meaning I paid for an extra month I hadnt asked for) there was no improvement. I saw a GP in February who diagnosed me with established lichen sclerosis. Cant believe this was missed at the menopause clinic.

I saw Janet and she was absolutely amazing. I feel she actually listened and understood the issues that I talked about and was happy to answer any questions I had as well as explaining things in detail. I felt so re-assured and the after care service has been superb. Thoroughly recommended.

I am so glad I sought out this clinic & got help from Jo Wessell, I was actually listened to, I was made to realise I was not losing my mind. It was really reassuring experience I am glad to say, my anxiety has gone, I can sleep, & my skin has almost totally cleared up. Thank you Jo.
