You're reading this to see if you should hire Nick for the (probably) most important day of your life?.. DO IT! Myself and my husband booked an elopement wedding in Devon (we live in Kent), there was only us and two special friends. This meant our choice of vendors (photography and hair) were even more important as they would likely make up 50% of our wedding guests Firstly, I was blown away with Nicks photos displayed on his website, he had a flare for finding the fun shots and didn't seem to mind taking a risk. We liked that and wanted to speak with him before booking. Naturally, we were too far for a f2f meeting so spoke on the phone. His relaxed and calming demeanour really made up our mind and we weren't disappointed! On the day, Nick arrived exactly when he said he would. He came to my room first, to capture some "getting ready" pictures. He read me straight away and realised i was relaxed and he didn't need to spend too much time in the room. There was an incredibly hilarious "in joke" about a bridge that will stay with us forever.. within minutes, Nick was part of the wedding and I was so pleased we'd booked him. Throughout the photos, Nick was charming, hilarious, cheeky, brave (especially when he nipped up onto the sea wall to get the perfect shot ) and put us at ease straight away. My husband, notorious cynic, commented afterwards how brilliant and talented he thought Nick was. Not only were his shots breathtaking, he is a natural people person and really got the best from us. We aren't the most comfortable couple in front of the camera at the best of times, I was also 3 months pregnant and not feeling the most confident, none of this seemed to matter. We were laughing and giggling like children the whole time. He was also always checking in with us to make sure we were happy with everything. Final example of why you should hire Nick (not that you should need it by now) is his promptness in delivering images. We literally had some of our most prized shots before he even left the ceremony. Meaning we could share our good news straight away, no waiting weeks. He also sent the rest within a week, incredible turnaround. What a day it was for us, made so much better by the fact we have amazing shots to look back on. Thank you Nick, for a fantastic experience.

Don't hesitate and book Nick. We booked Nick for our wedding that we had planned at the start of the pandemic and of course had to reschedule - twice! Nick kept in contact with us throughout to reschedule and check in with us. When we finally got married in October 2021, Nick was a hugely fun part of our day, our guests commented on how nice Nick was and he did a great job of helping to ease the nerves of me and my family at home in the morning during wedding preparations, and when he arrived at the Guildhall to photograph Fil. Prior to our wedding, we told Nick that we wanted a few formal wedding photos (groups, family etc) but that we wanted a lot of natural photos - we got those in abundance and they are absolutely gorgeous, particularly the photos of some of the really special moments with our children throughout the day which we will treasure forever. My 4 year old daughter will forever remember Nick as "Susan" which is what Nick called himself in the morning to get my daughter to smile! Thank you to Nick, for being such a special part of our day, and for giving us memories to treasure for a lifetime!
