SPAR - Filton

They are selling out of date items as reduced by the till. Never been a great shop but lately it has become grim

Awful customer service. Asked if I could leave a pre-labelled parcel with a staff member behind the till, who had been looking at an "Evri" ipad. They told me I had to wait in the post office queue. 10 minutes into the queue I asked again & they said the same (fair enough) but on reaching the end of the queue (20 minutes later) I was told that the Evri scanner was not working, & that the person that told me to wait in the queue had identified that problem 20 minutes before. Why they didn't suggest that I took my parcel elsewhere is baffling. They insisted I wait in a queue for 20 minutes for a service they knew I could not be given. Outrageous customer service.

Steer well clear overpriced goods and can not even use basic manners when serving no please or thank you or even a offering of a bag and continually talking to each whilst serving myself travel a little further up filton avenue

Rang up to ask a question about the Post office abilities and was delighted to hear that they could deal with my request! The women l spoke to had a lovely voice too! 'Went up there this morning and the gentleman behind the counter dealt with my energy Voucher in just 3 minutes,a Main post office would have taken 10 minutes minimum! Will be visiting SPAR more often from now on! (10/10-Spar)

If you need food, post office or even just click and collect, its better to avoid this place and go somewhere else even if it means travelling further.
