Called in on Sunday on the spur of the moment. I would say it was busy. But we were greeted with a lovely smile (Tracey I think) good beer and the best Beef & Ale pie (no soggy bottom) Will definitely recommend.

Best hotel buffet breakfast I've had, good selection, well stocked. Karen and Kate were very polite and helpful, chef (who's name has slipped my mind) was doing an excellent job also, absolutely lovely sausages.

Karen whe waitress did good job expressing her interest in our bfst experience, that's what I would expect, so spot on. Full selection available and empty trays swiftly replaced by freshly cooked food. It was busy, yet nothing was misisng. Well done for two cooks on this day(29th) ,you can tell they put some heart in what they do. Perfectly grilled and seasoned tomatoes is not what I see in every beefeater elsewhere, so clearly they took time to do it properly. Well done. Manager was on site, very helpful and looking after things, had everything in control. Overall very positive impression.

A fairly bog-standard affair. We were looking for somewhere fairly cheap and cheerful after going to the cinema, and having had a positive experience with another beefeater, we gave this one a go. It didn't really compare to the other beefeater. Yes, the menu and the style of the place was similar-ish but that's where the similarities ended. We were sat in the corner (immediately to the right of the entrance) where the low ceiling and lack of windows made it feel like a bomb shelter and quite claustrophobic. It was dated and badly in need of a facelift. We didn't really see the other parts of the restaurant. The meals were okay, perhaps not worth the money we paid. It was approx 19 for the ribs. They were okay, but perhaps not worth that. It had a side of anaemic fries and a few bits of lettuce. Daisy, our waitress, was very pleasant and attentive. We won't return as I'm sure there are far nicer places around. Parking: Plenty of parking
