An excellent school in a great building with wonderful staff and ethos.

I chose this school because of the ethos, as it appeared that they would be able to support my child in a way the previous school had not, and indeed, some of the teachers are very skilled. The lack of uniform and the focus on eating together also seems to work very well. However, I found it hard to communicate with staff, as reports were not read fully, emails often went unanswered or responses were incomplete or took a long time to arrive. After I complained about the lack of support for my child's additional needs, the school referred me to Social Services, without sharing their concerns with me first. This was extremely stressful but thankfully the case was quickly closed and I have now moved X to another school. I want other parents to be aware of my experience when choosing schools, as I have spoken to another parent who had a similar experience.

Today (10/07/17), with my business Immersive Theatres, I again delivered a 5m digital planetarium experience to 60 Reception pupils at Redfield Educate Together Primary Academy. I was warmly welcomed by the teacher and found the hall prepared just as I had requested. The day was well organised with all groups arriving on time. The excited but well-behaved students enjoyed a rich selection of content: peering up at the planetarium night sky, visiting the International Space Station, handling a meteorite, as well as visiting the Moon with the Apollo astronauts. Thank you Redfield Educate Together Primary for another very pleasant visit. Today (17/06/16), with my business Immersive Theatres, I delivered a 5m digital planetarium experience to 120 Reception and Year 1 students at Redfield Educate Together Primary Academy. I was made to feel very welcome by Emma and her colleagues and enjoyed setting up the dome is the large, clean school hall. Yet the excited students were the highlight for me, surprisingly knowledgeable about planet Earth and the Solar System. Thank you Redfield Educate Together Primary Academy for a very pleasant visit.
