Pasty was dry. I think the thing people get most wrong about pasties is that they're meant to be devoid of any moisture in order to be flakey. The inside was mush and tasteless. I ordered a Steak but was given a Steak and Ale. A fair mistake to make but still not what I wanted. I also paid 6.19 for it which is far too expensive for a "large" pasty. In Cornwall it's size would have been considered half way between small and medium, so that's just poor. Service was dreadful. Card machine kept breaking and the lady serving me just seemed to want to get rid of me. Not ideal. But still. Would never be caught dead in a Gregg's.

Miserable Woman looked at me with disgust when I walked in. Then abruptly told me no sausage rolls, like it was a stupid thing to ask for.

Incredibly slow service, the Asian woman wearing blue jacket was rude and spoke down on me. She also lied about waiting times and the pastys that were being baked. She told me chicken and mushroom pastys, and I got Cornish steak pastys instead. And when I asked she simply said and Im telling you this is chicken. So thank you for scamming me. Because I paid the price of a Cornish steak with is 6.99 each?! items are also severely overpriced. Come on people just go to greggs!!
