Good beer and very helpful staff (sorted out an extra chair for the benches outside); didn't have time for food this visit but the plates on the tables of others looked delicious. Keep up the good work :)

Lovely pub for a mid afternoon drink and a sit by the fire. The staff were pretty friendly but theres no old school landlord vibes here, so maybe not for you if thats what youre looking for; at the Cambridge it seems a bit more craft ale and modern tones. I guess their menu and everything must be fairly tightly controlled by the Fullers brewery, so if thats your thing then youre in! Any criticism? It was a chilly afternoon and quite chilly in the pub, which is why we sat in front of the open fire. As with so many pubs establishments, the staff need to understand that sitting is not the same as working and that customers will stay longer if theyre not cold. If not for this I would give 5 stars.
