The Hideaway

I called to this lovely place on a whim as my wife was visiting a local hair salon. I had falafel with a chilli and hummus for starter which was absolutely perfect, a fantastic choice of flavours. Main course I decided on the chicken and chorizo burger, the burger being a perfectly cooked chicken breast, served on a soft brioche type roll with garnish. I opted for the skin fries which complemented the burger. As it was early evening the restaurant was just starting to busy mid week, so I retired to the comfy sofas that overlook the beautiful glass fronted terrace with a barista prepared americano and cream. A mid week meal in a relaxing, thoroughly enjoyable setting with good food and a lovely atmosphere. I shall return with my wife when Ive completed my imminent period of convalescing.
