Arbor supplied our iroko folding sliding doors in 2007 together with a matching pair of french doors. We were so thrilled with the quality of the product we ordered 2 more bespoke windows from them 5 years later. The windows and doors function perfectly, look great and have been admired by many. The quality of advice and customer service has been excellent. From our experience we would highly recommend Arbor.

Good quality product, good sales service, but let down badly when things start going wrong. And trust me, everything that could have been wrong, was wrong. 1. Bespoke door, that was surveyed by the company was 10mm too wide each side, meaning it had to be planed. The top was 50mm too short, meaning we had a larger trim made up at the top than we had at the sides. This created an odd looking mitre. Also getting screws long enough to go through the gap to fix the top of framework and tap up in to the lintel is proving nigh on impossible. 2. Hinge was installed upside down. Door was meant to be pre-hung in to frame for testing but obv this wasn't done. Had to dismantle awkward mechanism and make good. 3. Called the company about the issues, argued with me for 15 mins instead of admitting any fault. The attitude was that I signed off the sizes so my fault and my problem! Make your own mind up. These problems added 2 days extra on to fitting, which I had to pay out on with no offer from Arbor to help absorb any of this loss. To add final insult to injury and having checked the company website, it transpired that the standard size doors that they manufacture would have been a better fit that the one they made to measure for me. This would have been 30% cheaper than the bespoke door. I feel conned that they would not have made me aware of the standard sizes before quoting me for the bespoke. It could have been amazing, but it ended up leaving a very bad taste.
