Increased service charge for apartment due to mistakes in their own calculations of service charge for the building. Unenjoyable customer service experience when trying to fairly raise these concerns. In response to your comments: Looking forward to service improving and hopefully giving you a better review in the future. The increase in charge from social housing feels like someone in your industry should be aware of, and seems unjust that your oversight means residents should pay more. You're correct the facts that all residents service charge going up was unenjoyable, but my dissatisfaction with my customer service experience was that the questions in my e-mails were ignored, not the 'fact' that you were charging people more from the agreed price because of your oversight. I don't think it's a brilliant response your team.

Worst possible services. They are managing Thomas Lane Apartments and the condition of my flat is worst due to consistent leakages in the house. Just avoid this company if you can

I moved into an apartment 6 years ago that is in a building managed by Bloq. I remember 5 years ago asking (after Grenfell) whether our cladding was a problem. I was told by the head of Bloq that it was OK. He knew apparently. He was wrong. Bloq have since manipulated leaseholders to attempt to dump the cost of remedial work onto them, to protect our freeholder. Bloq does not tell the truth and that made life very difficult. Their behaviour makes Bloq a dangerous company to employ. You think they know what they are doing and working for and with you, but instead they are working to their own agenda. Bloq have cost us 1000s, lying, manipulating and charging top prices. They tried to force leaseholders to sign a new agreement which was not required and certainly one that gave Bloq even more power. When leaseholders fought against these behaviours we were dumped by Bloq. Bloq even tried to give less notice than required in our agreement. This company is incompetent. They employ people who lie and manipulate, and do everything at premium prices. Bloq has ensured we have had a total of a 49% increase in our service charge in 5 years. Avoid this company.

I cannot recommend Bloq Management highly enough We work with a number of building management companies on a daily basis and Bloq are consistently the best of the bunch. They are quick to respond, helpful and reasonable - it is genuine relief when we are contacted to advise that they are taking over management of communal areas and issues because it means things will actually be resolved. Head and shoulders above the competition and it always feels they perfectly combine a personal, independent touch while also being big enough to do the job well. If you are considering a change of building management or going down the right to manage route you will not regret it.

Fantastic company. We were previously unhappy with the management company at our current flat. In January, Bloq came on board and have done a fantastic job ever since - long may it continue! We will soon be selling our property and had no difficulty letting our buyer know how confident we are with Bloq.
