Most stress inducing agents ive ever dealt with. Save yourself the brain cells dealing with this company and dont. Company still operating as if theyre in the 70s and the property managers and staff seem like dodgy characters and ask for dodgy requests with little knowledge on the housing/renting industry in the 21st century as well as rude and unprofessional staff. Baffled how this company is still operating. Waste of a few weeks of my time and my mental health. Awful x10000 company.

Please do not waste your time with this agency. Rude and unprofessional staff. They held our holding deposit over the legally allowed 15 days without putting an extension in writing or even communicating with us at all. After things finally did get moving they pulled the let without explanation less then a week before we were due to move in.

I had a quite similar impression with person right before me who posted a review of letting agent about being late to viewing and his speaking style. Let me clarify some points. 1. The best part about dealing with this agency is that you wont be disturbed after you sign a contract and get keys. I heard some letting agents or landlords would check in from time to time. 2. As a foreigner who came to UK for the first time, I didnt know anything about lettings in UK and where to contact for bills, Council Tax was new to me. They were very responsive to my enquiries about house stuff. Remember they are letting agents, not electricians or other service providers. So, try to Google first and only then contact letting agent and they will guide you to the right path to answer your question. 3. When I had issues with my door to apartment or building, the letting agent fixed issues immediately. I usually expect couple of days or even weeks to get some sort of repair service, but the letting agent is very responsible and caring to his tenants. 4. I mainly communicated with the agency through email and hence did not have problems with phone calls. I always took initiative by emailing and making sure property I am interested in is still available since there are other applicants who want to get the property. I would suggest emailing couple of hours before appointment to remind them that you are going to show up. I emailed them when I arrived and they emailed back that they will be late. While I was waiting for confirmation email I was worried that letting agent had already signed a contract with other tenant. After being in industry for a while and with current ongoing recession, being ghosted and not getting any response, even reject/decline, is quite common. 5. The letting agent is an aged person, literally he was born in 20th century. To those folks saying that the letting agency seems like in 1970s, well yeah, people who run the letting agency were born around that time (just my guess). When I saw the letting agent in person, I did not pay attention to minor details like being late for couple of minutes or speaking style some people might say rude. In my country abroad, he is of similar age as my grandpa and we respect elder people when they speak too directly because they have wisdom of age. 6. It is quite easy to get a property with the letting agent if you reach mutual respect. If you cant tolerate his speech, it will be apparent and the viewing will be awkward, hence you will not get any property. But if you show tenderness to elder people, then they will respect you and support you with the process and get you the property you want. So, be calm and respectful. I guess I got used to stressful meetings due to interview experiences with job applications. Even though they were the only agency that booked a viewing for me and that I was spending money on Airbnb for every day I was searching for a property to rent, I behaved normally. Being pressured and stressed doesnt help, even worse that would have resulted in me not getting the property if I showed I am very impatient and nervous person. Hope my review helps folks to prepare themselves to viewing (interview to get a property haha)

Awful service. Turned up late to a viewing because they'd forgotten we were booked in, didn't bother to tell us they were on the way until I emailed because I'd called 5 times and gotten no answer. The guy that turned up was incredibly unprofessional. He told us there was no need to take photos of the house as the photos were online, but there was only photos of one bedroom, the kitchen, and three bathrooms online so not the full collection. The photos also showed brand new furnishing and the mattresses still in their plastic, but when we arrived someone was living there so obviously these photos were quite old. He repeatedly spoke over us, when I asked about furnishings as it was offered furnished he said "don't worry about that let's just do the viewing and ask later." He spoke over us several times and clearly couldn't be bothered to answer questions. This guy honestly could not sell a bottle of water to a man dying of thirst in the desert. Despite this debacle, the house was actually quite nice and we sent our application in immediately, but of course got no response. Again, I tried to call several times to find out if our application would be considered, but of course, no answer on the phones. Later that day we saw the property online as "let agreed." Understandable that it went so quickly due to the current market, but horrendous customer service to not let your other applicants know. Honestly the whole things was a shambles from start to finish and I shall never be enquiring with them again.
