The time had come to fit a new boiler. John provided us with a very competitive quote and as ever with his work it was completed to the highest standards. He is an accredited installer for Worcester which gives you that extra piece of mind. Very punctual and the job was completed just over a week from our initial call! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a trusted local plumber.

John installed a new Worcester Bosch boiler for us and replaced the pipework from 22 to 28mm in order to meet the warrantee conditions for gas pressure. From the start he was clear, informative and easy to discuss options with. On the job he was always on time, respectful and hard-working. It was clear he was very experienced and also happy to deal with awkward secondary factors (like our flue needed moving too) which other contenders shied away from. Service: Water heater installation

I have used John many times in the past and have always been very happy with the service provided. However on the most recent occasion, John misdiagnosed a fault with a hob and replaced a perfectly good hob unnecessary. Despite acknowledging the error, and offering to provide a discount on further unnecessary work, we could not agree on satisfactory compensation for the error. On top of this John serviced a boiler, replacing several components at a considerable cost. The boiler immediately leaked (John said this was normal but would stop - but it has only worsened) and John was not willing to return to review his work to rectify this. So I have paid John almost 1000 and have a hob which I didnt need and a boiler that now leaks when it didnt beforehand. Unfortunately I would no longer recommend John to my friends and family in the area, which is a such a shame because I used to pass his name on to anyone looking for a reliable plumber.
