        Shockingly ignorant staff. Marcy opticians. Im new to glasses and expect a certain degree of education about lenses etc. you wont get that here

        Usually good service but having lost my specs on holiday trying to get an emergency appointment to replace was impossible. Bearing in mind this has been my branch for a decade. Not only do they never answer the phone, when I went in I was told that there was only two people there (both working on computers) and that the next appointment was November over 2 months ahead. Their only advise was go elsewhere. Disgraceful service, Boots should be embarrassed.

        Conveniently located, friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of frames, with lots of space to browse.

        We had to wait for more than one month to get an appointment for an eye check, the glasses were ready quiet quickly (in about 7 working days) but realised that the frame was loose as soon as we got home. Had to return them.

        Been rubbish since the lockdowns started and hasn't gotten any better with time. Cancelled appointments without explanation, nobody answers the phone at all some days, you can't make a new appointments even. I've been with Boots for years but I'll probably cancel at this stage.
