Lynne Fernandes Optometrist

Im relatively inexperienced when it comes to opticians, having been blessed with good eyesight. But Im getting older and noticed things arent quite so crystal clear as they once were, and Im not a big fan of the cattle style approach to customer service, as Ive had with other high street chains, so thought Id try Lynne Fernandes as its a local small business. I was right. The young lady on reception was very professional and welcoming, and she explained their COVID protocol very well. Connor the optician was very thorough, and explained what he was doing and why, with the aid of the computer imaging of my eyes, and went into detail about how things worked, and what other parts of my eyes do as well. Very interesting, as its something Id always taken for granted. After my assessment, Connor introduced me to Tim, who went through the various options of glasses and frames available to me. Tim was very knowledgeable about what style and shape of frame would best suit my face, as I wouldnt have had a clue, having never worn glasses before. He was very patient, as I was asking lots of questions, some in hindsight may have been a bit daft, but Tim remained professional, and we found a pair that fitted well, and suited my face. They were a bit more expensive than some of the other big high street names, but I feel the level of service I received more than made up for it. Overall a pleasant experience. 10/10.

Excellent Service really know their stuff. Brilliant eyecare and they go above and beyond, nothing is to much trouble. I went there for dry eyes as I was really struggling to get help and advice from anywhere and thanks to their expertise I now have it undercontrol. Highly recommend.

I was very nervous to attend my eye appointment but I need not have been . The staff was excellent I soon felt very at ease they take your temperature before you enter and you sterilise your hands . The room is spacious and very clean the equipment is second to none eye test very thorough I felt much at ease . I would recommend Lynne Fernandes to all my friends and family and certainly use them again.

This was my first time here. I found everyone to be very friendly and helpful. They explained everything to me in an easy to understand way. I will be recommending them to my family and friends. I felt valued as a person and not just another appointment.
