A professional, caring and friendly service with a fantastic outcome. From the first contact with his secretary, Anna, to the final follow up appointment, every element of the service received has been top class and painless. Having had cataract surgery on both eyes, the end result is unbelievable. After wearing glasses/contact lenses for the past 45 years, they are now no longer needed and my vision is perfect. I have had cataract surgery on both eyes at the Nuffield Hospital in Bristol. Adam Ross carried out the surgery. Both operations were successful and I now have excellent vision in both eyes. Given that I have worn glasses since I was 11 years old and am now in my seventies, the transformation resulting from the surgery has been extraordinary. I wish I had had the operation years ago. In addition to the result of the surgery, the entire experience was excellent. I am always interested in team performance and have some experience of performance improvement in a commercial context. Adam's team pre and post operation and in the theatre performed to a very high standard and their performance reflected very well on Adam and on the Nuffield Hospital. From the perspective of the patient lying on the table and having someone remove cataracts from. his eyes and fit new lens, Adam was technically excellent. Minimal pain and minimal discomfort - much less that I had anticipated. The results are (to use an overused word) brilliant. 20/20 vision in both eyes. I no longer' need glasses to read or to drive and my peripheral vision is light years above what it was. Do run with the varifocal lens if you can, it is amazing to have good eyesight after some sixty years. Quite transformative. With my wife I own and run holiday cottages on the Hartland Peninsula in North Devon. I do therefore understand the value of honest and direct reviews which is why I am taking time to detail my experience. It was excellent. Jeremy Roe
