Today I went to see Muriel James(my mum) and it happened to be her second six month review. Im prompted to remember how mum was before she came to stay at Horfield Lodge. She was emaciated and increasingly isolated, finding the places she knew slipping away from her memory. Now she is happy, superbly well cared for and plump! It is a good time to say thanks to all the dedicated staff who work day and night to make this happen. Mum sleeps well at night and so do I, knowing that mum is in the best place! Thanks everyone!
