I am surprised by the reviews I have read about this facility as they don't match my experience. Most of the staff are very polite, kind, and welcoming. The facility is lovely and clean, and in a great location. They make an effort with activities and try to adapt to each resident's needs. The food is great and the team is very responsive if anything happens. I am happy to have family there and appreciate the hard work they put into feeling safe and happy too. In my opinion, this is what is the most important.

Poor care and understanding of dementia. Poor staff supervision and poor communication between management and care staff. Very defensive when standard of care challenged. Just noticed the 5star review posted by one of the managers...... this says it all! This has been reported to Google.

My aunt is staying here after she was diagnosed with pretty severe dementia. My family is currently dealing with the police after she was physically assaulted by a staff member who did not have the proper training to be working here. Would definitely not recommend.

Beware of this care home, and beware of generalised 5 star reviews here on google - if people cant leave a goon news story with specifics its likely to be someone connected to the home - my family and I reported one last week. The well-being of their residents is not their priority. My mother is here and I cannot wait to get her out, she lost 5kgs on admission, has been assaulted by a carer, has medical needs that go unaddressed - all talk no action and the staff are defensive. Its left myself and my family with huge distrust in their commitment and capability. Mum has dementia and it appears that no one is supporting her, prompting her or redirecting her as a result shes dehydrated, exhausted. I feel so sad that my mum, who worked for the NHS for her whole career is in a place where people dont care about her as a person.
