        Awesome guitar building experience! I have just completed the 14 day guitar-building course, and found Alex to be an outstanding tutor. His woodworking studio has everything you'd need to build a guitar. With very limited previous woodworking experience I managed to build a beautiful parlour guitar, that also sounds incredible. Alex is an accomplished craftsman, and was patient and supportive as I went through the steps of taking disparate pieces of wood and fashioning them into an incredible instrument. Now all I need to do is to improve my playing so I can do justice to the guitar I built!

        Couldn't recommend Alex more highly.He is and an excellent tutor, and incredible maker and guitarist. Very skilled and well informed, as well as being a good person who's a pleasure to be around. He's noticeably very committed to his work, and goes the extra mile to ensure you have a positive learning experience. If you're thinking about doing a luthier course, book with Alex, you wont regret it.

        Alex's guitars really are quite something. I don't think many luthiers are building instruments which sound and look so good. Alex is also a great teacher of lutherie, and I would highly recommend his 3 week guitar building courses through Bristol Guitar Making School.
