After a wine tasting we had whilst in The Hague we discovered a wine called Barista which we loved. And so we wanted to try and grab a few more in Bristol from somewhere, so we headed to Majestic to hopefully grab a few. We succeeded - and the friendly knowledgable team even shared further great recommendations on another Pinotage from South Africa which we also really loved. We also left with another great white wine and my favourite Spanish beer, so we couldnt be happier and highly recommend the wonderful warm and attentive team at Majestic.

I seem to be upsetting the applecart here but my experience was only worth 2 stars I'm afraid. For the last 6 or 7 years I use this store for one visit a year, so I'm not a frequent visitor. I usually order a case of beujolais nouveau which is due for release on the 3rd Thursday in November every year. I don't normally order stuff online but I feel I'll have to get used to doing so in the future, (unfortunately). I popped into the store in early November to request/order the aforementioned wine, but due to various reasons the order was not available when I arrived to collect it. In the past it has been misplaced and put back on the shelves and sold. This time I even rang a few times just to remind them of the order. It appears that the Brislington store was only given a few cases which were all preordered online. Therefore it meant ringing around other stores to see if they had any spare, which obviously niggled me. Many thanks to the Weston-super-Mare store for having a spare case and donating it to my cause. On collection day I was told the case was not in store and I was about to leave when a fine Italian gentleman said he'd have another look and hey presto he found the case! I'm very grateful to him. In summing up: Please actually phone someone if you say you will phone, (3 calls not made). And sort out your ordering system. Send the staff that couldn't find it to the optitions for a sight test!!

These guys sorted the alcohol for my wedding in Tetbury. Great service - quick response times through email - great value for money. Alcohol was delivered to the wedding venue without issue. Would use again and would recommend to all.
