Ashley has been treating my PTSD for the last 12 months. I had complex trauma. I can highly recommend Ashley - he is calm and very professional. I've seen a massive improvement in my condition - both physical & mental.

Ashley is a unique and truly gifted individual who has enormously impacted my life with positive change. Before contacting Ashley, I had buried traumatic events from a past relationship that hugely affected my confidence, self-esteem and general trust in people. I didn't feel like myself and would often spiral down paths of continuous anxious and intrusive thoughts. My sleep was poor, and I often had periods of lying awake for hours or being woken up by night terrors. A friend pushed me to seek therapy, and Ashley was the first therapist to respond to my enquiry. I instantly felt welcomed and comfortable with Ashley when I first met him. He explained the process of EMDR clearly and made me feel relaxed and completely at ease. EMDR is a fascinating form of psychotherapy to tackle trauma, and I found Ashley's approach highly effective. Over the twelve sessions, I opened up with parts of my life I've never revealed to anyone. I could completely trust Ashley; he always made me feel safe and secure. He also has a great sense of humour and always puts a positive spin on even the most challenging sessions when discussing uncomfortable memories. I started to look forward to coming to his EMDR sessions, and I began noticing positive changes in myself. I've finally processed difficult memories and learnt to control my anxious thoughts and constant catastrophizing. I feel stronger and more confident, and my sleep has definitely improved. I've also had friends comment on how I generally seem happier, which is lovely to hear. I've finally felt more able to open up to someone I love about my past, which I didn't feel I could do before. I am so utterly grateful for Ashley's work with me, and I cannot recommend him enough. Ashley has helped me reconnect with my sense of self-worth and filled me with the confidence and strength I thought I'd lost forever. He is a wonderful and kind therapist, and I urge anyone who's struggling with trauma to seek him out for help. You won't regret it.

I cannot recommend Ashley enough. He holds a safe and supportive space, with a kind and humorous energy that helped to make the emotionally-charged issues we were dealing with feel light and surmountable. I found EMDR to be so effective I can hardly believe what I was able to achieve. From the work I did with Ashley across six sessions, I have felt tangible changes in my life that have improved my relationships and ability to cope with triggering situations.

I had EMDR therapy from Ashley over six weeks at the start of 2021. From the outset I was impressed by his professionalism and he offered a free telephone consultation to help establish whether EMDR was the right option. As soon as we began sessions over Zoom (because of lockdown restrictions), Ashley put me at ease with the process and ensured that my experience of EMDR was a very positive one. Highly recommended.

I began EDMR Therapy online with Ashley a few months ago and it has absolutely changed my life. Initially I was anxious but quickly felt at ease and reassured by Ashley, I can't express how wonderfully kind, skilled, professional and down to earth he is. I'd read into EMDR but hadn't been able to access it via the NHS so after a thorough search of google, I decided to reach out to Ashley and see if we could do some work together. I've engaged in many therapies to work on other issues but I hadn't been able to address my childhood trauma before which I felt was crucial to finally move forward. I went into this therapy knowing it would be tough and it was, some sessions I cried as it felt like opening Pandora's boxed after being closed for so many years; it was tiring and some nights all I wanted was to close off. However, using appropriate coping skills between sessions and reaching out to him helped immensely. Once we'd finished the last stages of reprocessing each memory, it honestly felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders and life has been inexplicably better since. I'm no longer as reactive, it doesn't feel like my nervous system is continuously activated like it was before, I'm not in fight/flight mode as much, my sleep is better, I'm able to seek comfort in other ways and provide more compassion toward myself, trust myself and others; every part of my life is better and I'm so much happier. It's always within you, but sometimes you need a guiding hand to help you reach the other side and fully know in your heart that the experiences you endured were not your fault. EMDR is tough but absolutely worth it, thank you for helping change my life Ashley. I cannot recommend you enough :-)
