High promises, poor results. After working with Digital Ethos (DE) for 6 months, they generated 4 leads and zero sales. During our fortnightly meetings, the reason for the poor lead attraction and conversion was always pushed back to me, with reasons such as "your business website isn't good enough", and "we need a lead magnet, not just rely on social media posts". Not once did they express that it could be the social content that they were producing. Website: Prior to working with DE, they had assured me that they could generate sales from the website. Lead magnet: I produced a lead magnet which shared the top strategies of my coaching services and sent to DE. They didn't use it, even though they had expressed that this was a matter of urgency. I was promised that the first advert would be live and generating leads within 4 weeks. I ensured that all content required for this timeline was sent to them within 48 hours of our first meeting. 6 weeks later, the advert still wasn't live - and I was still being billed for their time even though they had overrun with no reasonable excuse as to why. I paid 1,500 monthly for their services and an additional 750-1,500 monthly for FB marketing costs. After 6 months, when it was clear that they were struggling (they had generated 4 new emails, created 4 different SM static images as adverts in this time and made some adjustments to a landing page to help with conversions), they refused to terminate the 12-month contract. It was only after I kept demonstrating this point that they agreed to terminate the contract... 3 months later. Do not use this company.
